My name is Abel Oriri, and I am the founding pastor of Heights Fellowship Ministries in Cleveland, Ohio. What began as a humble Bible study group has blossomed into a vibrant ministry dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of Africans in the diaspora and the wider international community. With over ten years of commitment,
Heights Fellowship has become a vital part of the Cleveland area, enriching the lives of its residents. We hold our worship services at Christ Episcopal Church in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where we strive to bridge the cultural, psychological, and spiritual gaps that exist among diverse communities.
Our services are primarily conducted in English, but we also incorporate Swahili music to celebrate our cultural heritage and create an inclusive worship experience. Before founding Heights Fellowship,
I was privileged to serve as an associate minister at Mount Zion Church in Oakwood Village under the guidance of Dr. Larry Macon Sr. During this time, I felt a strong calling to establish a ministry that would specifically cater to the spiritual and cultural needs of Africans in our region. Join us as we continue to grow and serve, making a meaningful impact on the lives of many.
